First Name: Mark
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Location: London

WoW Character Name: Moonvvalker
Your Class: Protection/Fury Warrior
Professions: Blacksmithing, Mining

Armory link (please be logged with your main spec and gear): http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet ... oonvvalker

What kind of replacements for current gear are you looking for? T10 gear and ToC 25 / ToGC 10 & 25 man/ ICC raid gear from 10 & or 25 mans

Are you willing to respec to benefit raids? Of course, no problem. I do have a offspec on my warrior so that’s no problem, and a lvl 80 Death Knight who is capable of 3-4k dps atm, he currently only has T9 gear. He has a aoe raid rotation, Unholy.

What is your rotation? warrior: Charge, Thunderclap, Shockwave, Shield bash , Shield Slam, Heroic Throw, Devastate, Devastate, Devastate, Devastate. I repeat this over adds and chuck in a few other s like Concusion Blow, Challenging Shout and Shield wall all depending on situation.

Got any WWS to show us? If not, how much dps /hps you usually do in raids ? My hp unbuffed is 37.7K although I am missing 1 or 2 enchants, on my off spec I pull about 3 – 4 k dps depending, sometimes more with CD s, up to 5 K. On my Dk in raids I pull 3 – 4 k dps but he is still gearing up atm.

Whats your total time /played in WoW? 55 days 16 hours

Are you able to attend raids from 19.15 - 23.30 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday? 2 - 3raids normally a week

What raids have you done in Pre-TBC and TBC? Non as I had started playing during it s mid release

What raiding experience do you have in Wotlk ? I have done a lot of raids, not all but quiet a few. I.e. ICC 10 man (first 3 bosses), Toc 10 25, Naxx 10 25, OS 10 25, Ulduar 10 25 (not the whole raid)

Do you currently have any other applications pending to some other guild(s)? No this is the only application

In what guilds have you previously been in and why you left? Kronus, Phonoenix Rising. I first left PR because whenever they did raids they never got things done. It took hours to down a couple of bosses because people when afk, toilet breaks and so on., otherwise it was a nice social guild. Kronus I left because they only had 1 proper raiding group for 10 mans to which only the leaders went to and they never switched it around with guild members. It would have been great to have a couple of groups on the go.

Why do you want to leave your current guild? I have left it because of this reason

What do you expect from Sín? A friendly environment, fun and efficient raiding sessions, which I really find important. I do read and watch tactics/videos before raids which save s time in raids, which is imp for group to. Hopefully meet new people

What would you bring to Sín? My 2 lvl 80 s of which 1 is my main

Do you have any lvl 80 (or close to it) alts worth mentioning, name(s)? Scarax

What addons do you use ? Atlas Loot, Auctionator, Quest Helper and Recount

Do you lag alot and/or get odd dc's ? (Be honest we will find out anyway) No I do not in raids. But when am in major cities like dalaran that’s where I lag. Not really in Stormwind or other cities just Dalaran really.

Do you have Ventrillo, do you have a mic, and can you use both? yes I do, and my mic is inbuilt.

Who do you know from Sín who could vouch for you? Gildz, he s been a m8 of mine since a long time.

What achievement are you most proud of? xD lol , I think it would be 10 exalted reputation as I am trying atm for the crusador and and another linked to this one . I also like my raid achi s tbh.

Anything else we should know about you? I hope to hear from you in game

Hi Mark,

Ty for aplying, as i been warrior tank for a long long time i'm in titlle to comment a bit on ur gear spec etc.
Let me say that what i write is just comment and not critisism so do not be affended by it.

First of all at first clance at ur gear it tells me that some is pretty decent and all but not at the standard of our 25m raids so u need to upgrade with badges and 10m icc a bit more before u could tank in 25m with us.

Second some advise on ur rotation wich is a bit off in my personal opinion.
Quote:
hat is your rotation? warrior: Charge, Thunderclap, Shockwave, Shield bash , Shield Slam, Heroic Throw, Devastate, Devastate, Devastate, Devastate

Shield bash is only used if ur tanking spelcasters for interrupt since it does s**** on threat loose it outta ur rottation.
I would do Heroic Throw, Charge, Shield Slam, (in case of mutliple mobs Shockwave, Thunderclap, Cleave, Cleave and rotate.)Devastate, Devastate, Devastate and rotate using Heroic strike as rage dumb.

HP don't empress me or shock me coz it may be low, avoidence i find much more importand on warrior tanks.
Avoidence wise i'm missing a lot off Parry on u atm so thats something u may wanna work on since its ur main avoidence stat with some mittigation from armor and shieldblock in icc.

Overal not bad, u need to replace some stuff and do the missing enchants ofc and ur good to go.
If u want advice on what items u should replace first and all that throw me a /w or ask here and we try and help u as best as possible.

Hi mate, got some talent suggestions to add along with knoss' comment ;P.

Tanking: minor things, in your arms tree I'd suggest you take out those points in charge and stick 1 of them in iron will. Stunned tanks don't generate threat ;P. In your prot tree I'd suggest takeing out the 2 in improved bloodsurge to stick them in improved revenge or improved spell reflection. IR gives more threat gen with that move plus a stun effect on it and IS gives you 4% spell avoidence plus the ability to reflect spells cast on teammates.

Fury: lots of stuff here, in the arms tree take out 3 points in parry and stick them in heroic strike, you spam that a lot as fury and reduced rage cost on an ability that takes away your MH's rage gen is always welcome. In the fury tree you have 3 points in Blood Craze, which does nothing for your DPS, I'd suggest putting them in imp. cleave (and if you get crit in a raid enviornment, your generally gonna be on the floor). As for Enrage, this is usually a good ability to have if you have excess points as realistically, your gonna get hit due to raid wide damage etc, but if your hit isnt at 8% of higher, you need to swap those points into Precision. Don't go more into Precision than you have to to reach the 8% hit cap, as it will become virtually worthless past cap.

Only gonna comment on fury glyph suggestions: 1) Glyph of Whirlwind, its the best one we can get as fury, hands down. 2) Glyph of Heroic Strike. Makes out rage dump ability dump rage more effectively, great when we use it when popped with recklessness. 3) Glyph of Cleave. Not many glyphs left that can help with fury DPS, but this will improve your DPS on aoe pulls.

Hi Mofisto,

Thanks alot for your reply. It seems alot more sensible with your rotation. I have been struggling alot in the past with rotations thats why I had stuck with this one. But awsome in regards to the rotation you sugessted. I will try this out. Also I know my Hp is not spectacular. But i have just got 4 new loot items from ToC 10 and 25 man with I need to equip and replace with my T9 set pieces, gem up and enchant. Hopefully this will also improve that up a bit.

I didn t know tanks had a cleave ability, but I will check this out with my tree, sounds interesting as it probably does aoe on mutiple adds. And yeah, regarding my rotation u re right about the shield bash in my rotation and thats more of a interupting action.

Gonna check this out tonight, thank alot again :)
(gonna go over your advice again seems like there alot to take in ^^ and constructive stuff)

Hi again Mofisto,

Thanks will compare your glyph suggestions to Omegadruidz (gotta still reply) suggestions which i am comparing right now. Also just wanted to say in regards to the comment regarding hp, it s not great what I am going to say, but at the time gettting Embs of Triumph was hard which is similar to getting frost now, shouldn t be a excuse though. But I now meet certain minimum requirements to get into certain raids (at time took a while), which is great because that increases the chance to gear up, which is also quiet important and good, but that was problem even in my previous guilds. And I have tried pugging but thats just not great at all, and you have to be really lucky to get a good group which is rare.

But absolutely advice taken into account, I am just short before ICC 10 man according to wow heros. But as I have really struggled in past with tanking, it has now become my favorite thing to do, especially warrior tanks, even though they have bad aoe in comparison to other classes.

Going to make a review of my character now ;)

Hi Omega,

Again thnk you for the comments + advice. I have just compared your notes to my character and will make these changes and test it out. regarding first point: I will make changed, either way or with revenge aggro will be good to have more as would spell reflect be good as in raids I can imagine it would help raid member out. lol I just got to decide which to take :D. and on the second point did you mean bloodrage instead of bloodsurge? If so I will do that to. Sounds good thx for that dude!!

I will also make those changes to the offspec for fury, as you know it s my offspec but is still good to have. I wil try that out soon. I have already got the major glyphs for my off spec. I was actually shocked that I didn t have the glyphs in my offspec, lol!!!! xD

Just gonna get some minor glyphs on my offspec to! thx alot Omega, much appreciated!

I will also gem up my new tank loot pieces , hopefully that improves a bit, sure it will as they are better pieces from toc raids.

Hey Mofisto and Omega,

I havereset my tree according to your gyz suggestions. I have also tried out your rotation Mofisto and works really good, i particularly like the cleave ability which is a good aoe. I opted for the increased revenge option over the spell reflection as I thought the spell reflection might be more of a option for a raid as it would help members out then.

great thanks again. I will chat in game to you :D

Lol.............

Very very funny Tupps, reminds me i miss ur outspoken personality :)

In any case Tupps is the best tank i ever met (besides me ofc :P) so if he suggest somthing its worth takin into account.

On the other hand if we want to talk to him in hes own lvl ( otherwise he won't get it), u just say :

"Screw u Tupps u aint even playing anymore so STFU u poor excuse of a tank, go hang arround with ur hippie friends smoking grass and stuff" (meaning i miss u Tupps in Tuppy langue)
