First of all thank you for applying but having said that,

Are you able to attend raids from 19.15 - 23.30 Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday? I’m able from 19:15 – 22:00

A big problem right there to be honest with you, thank you for taking the time to apply but we raid with 25 other people on the understanding that raids are from 19.15-23.30 we really cant accomodate somebody who cannot raid the full duration and leaves an hour and a half before raid end.

I'm just going to run through your application question by question mate ok, I appreciate English is not everybodies first language and at 15 I could barely speak English myself (and I am infact English :S)

Nobody is going to track you down though Mori probably could if he wanted to, we is a friendly guild on first name basis when possible but ingame names are cool to so far so good.

Again good and good the only thing is that we are a raiding guild and your applying to us to raid, therefore we generally want to see professions that will maximise your performance in raids Alchemy is arguable but we will give it the benefit of the doubt but herbalism really doesnt benefit you in a raid in anyway except a slight heal when it is maxed out, I appreciate people like to have a gathering profession to go with their crafting but a character with raiding ambitions would ideally have 2 professions that award some bonus to your raid abilities, extra gem sockets, more powerfull gems etc.

So far so good again if you can specify what you feel are the weakest area's in your gear at the moment and so the ones that need improvement most importantly it helps to show you know your class your aware of any gear issues you might have like having to settle for dps gear with hit on it in a healing set. Acknowledge everything even problems because if you dont and somebody else spots it then it makes you look like your not aware of things you have done wrong which or only actually temporary fixes while you wait for better gear and so perhaps acceptable.


Are you willing to respec to benefit raids? Yes
Being flexible and willing to respec for the benefit of raids and the guild is a plus thats good.

What is your rotation?
I appreciated holy priests have no fixed rotation exactly and your healing is for the most part reactive or pre-emptive of predictable incoming damage such as aoe in a boss fight etc, however not answering at all isnt the way to go at all, make some efforts if you dont understand the question you can say so and we will point you in the direction but generally speaking you could acknowledge you have no fixed rotation you heal as the situation needs it and you use flash heal and renew for single target heals, circle of healing for quick aoe healing, and cast prayer of healing when you know a large chunk of raid damage is going to be heading your way shortly. (Sorry Val and Jinx if I got that wrong)

Thats good not bad at all and if you can keep that up in a raid with your current gear level pretty good

You again mate if your not sure how to answer tell us you dont understand we will point you in the right direction, your time played in warcraft can be found out by typing /played whilst in the game brace yourself though its scary how all those hours can disapear on you. We use this figure to get a rough idea of just how active you are on your character looking at what achievements you have got in the past also in raid encounters contributes to this a person with 10 days play ofc isnt as desireable as somebody with 100 but then again somebody with 1000 might not be great either cos is a strong chance their life could be going to hell in the near future, its just a guide theres no right or wrong answer exactly.

As I've said mate this is the big one we do raid up to 4 or 5 times a week if your willing but only 3 that we insist you attend and those are our 25 man raids, raid time is none optional we generally insist people are there for the duration of the raid or they do not raid at all except in extreme circumstances and we are short on numbers, however your honesty is appreciated and incase it wasnt implied we are talking 19.15-23.30 server time.

No problem with these attitude and knowledge counts for more than experience which is more of a bonus where we can get it, we have always been willing to give people a break if they seem to be the kind of person we want on board.

You have to be a lil carefull how you answer this question mate I understand your reasoning and its good that you show a desire to raid strong enough that your not afraid to leave a guild to get some, be carefull though or you can make people question whats to stop him leaving us in the future all in all though solid answer.

This is your place to shine mate, I know its hard to talk yourself up and sell yourself we are not all blessed with the amount of selfconfidence the likes of Dayhawk or Iggie or Tups have got but its a skill you need in life and on this game so heres a good place to practice, you start with, I'm an AMAZING holy priest the best holy priest you havent yet seen and if I can pull out 3.5k hps in my current gear just imagine what I can do in a week or two with some ICC10 gear and I will be loyal to your guild for giving me that opportunity, seriously I frikken ROCK. Something like that

All the alts you have are worth mentioning they show the extent of your knowledge in other classes to some degree and also again reflect on how much you play warcraft and how active you are (or in Omega's case how over-active you are).

Be specific where you can be, addons to pimp your UI are not necasseraly what we are looking for here but things like deadly boss mods, omen if your dps, healbot, decursive, grid that kind of thing that shows you take your raids seriously and put time into making it as good an experience as you can do.

Thats awesome it is and I'm pretty sure a lot of people are jealous right about now (Yes Ere Daz you two).

Again a big selling point to many people are shy when you put a mic infront of them me and daz are getting tired of the sound of our own voices and we are still waiting to hear Ere sing.

Not a lot to say again good stuff but we don't know Moon that well ourselves yet I havent had the pleasure of raiding with him.

Again dont be so negative on yourself mate look through your list of achievements and find the one you think took the most effort or was the most difficult for you to achieve. It doesnt have to be alone in the dark or the grand crusader, the reason it matters and why your proud of it is as important if for example you cleared the courtyard of Ulduar25 in a guild that maybe managed 1 25 man raid a month that would be something to be proud of if you managed to gain raid area achievements by pugging because thats all that was available to you that, well that should be in achievement in its own right to be honest cos pugs suck 9/10 Lycon tells me especially at onyxxia, also if you just dont care for achievements at all and say so sorry not an achievement person consider them a pointless waste of time when I could be farming shinies well that would buy you bonus points with some people also (read Mofisto)

Dont take this the wrong way I'm not writing to criticise just to offer you some advice and some idea's of how we see things from our point of view here as an officer looking at your application, I hope I've not been to strong you have a lot of things to offer and your playing yourself down more than you need to but I do think the subject of raiding hours could be the biggest problem.

Having said all that though our resident holy priests will need to look at your gear and talents to see how they measure up, lucky you the boss lady is a priest

Its a good thing you didnt wrote what silent suggested that you "frikkin rock!!!",
cause simply put, you dont.
I dont question your abilities as a healer / dps , because that i dont know,
but looking at your gear, you would have got laughed at pretty bad if youd say that.

It doesnt bother me much that you havent done anything in ICC
and i get it that you didnt get to raid much with your previous guild.
But that is even more reason to pimp up your current gear as much as possible,
which sadly you have failed to do.

Your head enchant is wrong.
Cape enchant has to be better.
Enchant on bracers is a .. meh.
Your staff is missing something.
Same for your legs.

About your talents, those are fine, BUT..
you got dicipline glyphs.. ??
And your shadow spec glyphs are.. empty.... again

To sum all this together with your poorly written application
and the fact that you cant raid after 22.00,
i have no choice but to decline you.

You can always apply again, once you have put some serious effort into your character
and actually bother to do the same with application and when our raid times will suit you better.
(Strongly recommend you take silents advice on how to write a good application,
you have to be able to sell snow to eskimos, if you know what i mean).

Thanks a lot guys i know all the stuff you told me, just havent changed my glyphs since i were Disc and i couldn't find any other bracers so i'm just using these until i get some otheres, but yeah i'll probably apply again when i get a little older and i have geared better up but thanks for the information and the tips.
